GUY RITCHIE yesterday vowed his sons would always have the hearts and souls of Englishmen, after MADONNA won a court order to move them to the US.

The 40-year-old Brit told a close friend he was gutted but resigned that Rocco, eight, and adopted Malawian David Banda, three, would end up mostly in New York.

But he added: I will make sure they are proud of their English roots.

Madge, 50, is understood to have won a temporary residency battle to shift the kids’ main home from London to the US, following the pair’s divorce in November.

She argued it was her right as a mum to have them with her — especially as the boys’ sister Lourdes, 12, wants to be near her natural father in New York.


The pal of film director Guy — who is working on a Sherlock Holmes movie and also owns a pub in Mayfair — said: Lourdes was always going to stay with her mum. But keeping Rocco and David
close to him in London was the only thing Guy really wanted from the divorce.

He thought he had a real chance, especially as their school is here. He desperately loves those boys and is a devoted dad.

Madonna — who yesterday announced an Eastern European tour with tickets up to 175 — is set to get the US residency order made permanent in two weeks.

The pal added: Guy will still see his sons all the time. He said, ‘It doesn’t matter where they live — they will always have the hearts and souls of Englishmen.’

Football, appreciating the countryside, good humour and decent music — Guy’s determined these symbols of Britishness will forever be part of their lives.

Next March 18 it will be released on DVD in France Madonna's film directing debut, "Obscénité Et Vertu" ("Filth And Wisdom" on its original title.) It will be released by Fox Pathe Europa.

Madonna's phenomenally successful 'Sticky & Sweet Tour', already the #1 Biggest Grossing Tour in history for a solo artist, will embark on another series of shows beginning July 4th in London.
Stops will include appearances in never before played markets such as Werchter Belgium, Marseille France, Hamburg Germany, Oslo Norway, Helsinki Finland, Tallinn Estonia, Ljubljana Slovenia as well as stops in Romania, Hungary, Serbia and Bulgaria it was confirmed today by Live Nation. Additional appearances by Madonna will include return visits after more than 15 years to Madrid, Gothenburg and Munich.

With record breaking ticket sales everywhere, including 650,000 tickets sold in her series of South American dates, 72,000 tickets at Zurich's Dübendorf Airfield - the largest audience ever assembled for a show in Switzerland, 75,000 tickets in London and four sell outs in New York's Madison Square Garden (60,364 tickets).

Madonna has won her residency battle with Guy Ritchie and will move their two sons to America, according to a new report.

Rocco, eight, and three-year-old adopted tot David will join sister Lourdes, 12, in New York. Madonna is understood to have been given temporary permission to remove the two boys from Britain – with the move expected to be made permanent shortly.

A source close to the negotiations told a newspaper: “Everything is going to be resolved in the next couple of weeks. “Everything is going well. It’s pretty amicable at the moment. Things are progressing.” Madonna’s spokeswoman refused to comment on her post-divorce plans.

Rumors are increasing over the internet about a possible new release of a 4th single from the Hard Candy album, "The Beat Goes On".

Now the dust has settled on her divorce, her Madgesty confirmed on her website yesterday she was extending the Sticky And Sweet world tour.

While the official statement confirms she is "looking forward to an amazing summer in Europe", prospective concert dates in Japan and Australia were leaked on her international promoter's site before being quickly pulled.

The leaked itinerary featured four Australian concerts with Madonna scheduled to perform at ANZ Stadium on September 26. The last time she performed in Australia was for the 1993 Girlie Show tour at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Also leaked and then removed from the same Live Nation website were details of the next leg of Britney Spears' world tour - and it looks like the comeback of Brit-mess and Madonna will both be in Australia in September.

Spears was slated to perform three concerts at the neighbouring Acer Arena. While their proximity would fuel a frenzy of speculation about cameos at each other's shows, it is unlikely Madonna or Spears' jam-packed schedules would allow for an Australian duet.

Local fans and promoters have been willing the dollar to improve to safeguard Australia as a must-do destination on the international touring circuit for the huge stadium acts.

The Top 20 Concert Tours ranks artists by average box office gross per city and includes the average ticket price for shows in North America in U.S. dollars. The previous week’s ranking is in parentheses. The list is based on data provided to the trade publication Pollstar by concert promoters and venue managers.

Music sites have been swamped with unofficial information that Madonna will most probably perform in Belgrade on the 26th.

According to unofficial information, several domestic promoters have been negotiating about the possible arrival of the pop-queen in Serbia, while literally all Madonna’s fan sites have c onfirmed her concerts in summer (July and August) in Milan, Marseille, London and Belgrade. Namely, Madonna wants to continue her very successful “Sticky & Sweet” tour in order to visit the cities where she hadn’t performed last year.
It should also be taken into account that Madonna doesn’t usually continue already finished tours. It is also a well-know fact that she doesn’t have many-year tours with 100-200 concerts like her colleagues, such as the bands U2 or “The Rolling Stones”.

To remind the readers, Madonna started her “Sticky & Sweet” tour on the 23rd of August in 2008 in Cardiff and finished it on the 21st December in Sao Paulo. She performed on the 25th of September last year at Jaz Beach near Budva and delighted about 40,000 visitors. At first it was announced that she would have a concert in Belgrade, but after much speculation, the capital of Serbia didn’t have a chance to organize the concert, since Budva offered more money. If we don’t take into account the bad organization and crowd after the concert at Jaz Beach, Madonna’s concert was excellent and the singer proved to have
been in top form even at the age of 50.

Here is the rehearsal list of britneys next tour and includes the song " Me Against The Music" wich is said will be performed by Madonna and britney live on L.A.

According to reports by Finnish tv channel MTV3 Madonna seems to be confirmed for a show in Helsinki, Finland.

Jätkäsaari, the rumoured venue, is a former dock area in the city with a capacity up to 80,000 people that would be used to organize a live event for the first time. If this materializes, it will be the biggest concert ever in Finland. MTV3 reports that an official confirmation is expected in a few days.

Shakira is the next singer to work with Madonna on a proyect, it is said that the next album of Shakira will include a duet with the queen of pop, no word if will be on english or spanish, we´ll keep you informed.

American actress Gwyneth Paltrow who is also Madonna’s best friend has revealed that ’Shantaram’ by Gregory David Roberts is among the pop singer’s favourite reads. The book tells the story about the life and adventures of an escaped Australian convict in Mumbai. The actress posted on her website her decision to set up a book club for Hollywood A listers, specifically to help best friend Madonna make a fresh start after her recent headline grabbing divorce from British director Guy Ritchie. Paltrow revealed her plans on her website and wrote that she has asked some celebrity friends to join in. “I feel a bit swallowed up in January, the days are so short, the sky is so close and grey. The best way to escape is to curl up by the fire with an amazing, transportive novel,” she said. “I like knowing the literary preferences of people, it gives a better understanding of their inner life,” Paltrow added. The actress who is married to British band Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin also revealed that Madonna’s favourite book was ‘The Bad Girl’ by Mario Vargas Llosa which chronicles the life of a teenager hungering for money and power.
